Pasuma Shows Class With New Album, Holds Album Listening Party

Fuji music star, Odetola Wasiu Alabi aka Pasuma Wonder is set to release his much anticipated hip hop album.

The album which redefines fuji music and provides a nexus between fuji and hip hop music is entitled ‘My World’. Pasuma features about six artistes in this 16-track album and they include Tiwa Savage, Olamide, Phyno, Oritsefemi, Terry G and Patoranking.

Pasuma says that his fans love the new concept and are strongly behind him. In an interview, he said the idea was conceived five years ago but it took a while before it reached fruition.

“My manager conceived it and we started with a first single ‘Abo’ and followed it with ‘Ife’ featuring Tiwa Savage. Later I dropped ‘Ogede Ti Pon’, a rap music and my fans liked it.

‘Oruka’ came after and now I have done the video and it features a lot of Nollywood stars some of whom are my friends. All in all my 16 tracks make up the album, ‘My World,” Pasuma stated.

Meanwhile, an album listening party holds on Thursday, July 30, 2015 at D Place Nite Club GRA Ikeja, Lagos. Since it’s a hip hop album, Pasuma brings different artistes in a performance and they are Skales, Oritsefemi, Olamide, Terry G, Dammy Krane, Sean Tizzle, Sound Sultan, Lil Kesh. Other artistes to thrill fans are Chuddy K, Posly TD, 9ice, Toby Grey, Frankie Free, Famous, Q Dot, Small Doctor, Fenando.  

Handling the wheel of steel is respected Disc Jockey, Jimmy Jatt with Omobaba anchoring the show.

Pasuma owns Wasbar Records label and it is home to acts such as Small Doctor and Frankie Free who were unveiled in January. The latest act on the label is Q.Dot who reportedly left Different Entertainment led by D-Tunes.

Olamide Live In Concert #OLIC, Records Huge Success, Ranks The Biggest Concert In Nigeria

In what looked like one of the best shows of 2014, Olamide Baddo staged a concert that will go down well in memory lane at the Eko Hotel Convention Centre on Sunday December 28th 2014.

The YBNL Boss displayed series of mouthwatering displays from his array of tracks and his colleagues in the entertainment industry did not leave him to do the job alone as they show up in numbers to support one of their own. I guess the turnout was due to the loyalty he has been showing his colleagues in the industry over the years because it was massive and indeed a full house on the night.

The hall was full to capacity and there was no dull moments, as attendees witnessed series of top notch performances from the likes of Reminisce, Wizkid, Phyno, Pasuma wonder, Ice prince Zamani, Patoranking, Davido, Oritse Femi, The YBNL crew, Skales and several others.

Chinco Ekun and Base1 marveled the teeming crowd with superlative freestyle that is purely indigenous and classy they got everyone standing and left the stage with applauds. Basketmouth also wowed the audience with his jokes.

The event also saw important personalities in attendance like the APC’s vice presidential candidate Prof. Osibajo, Ekiti State governor Ayo Fayose Foremost footballer Obafemi Martins and several others it was indeed a show to remember for everyone that attends.

“How I Got Wizkid Signed To Star Boy Records!” – L.A.X Finally Open Up!

L.A.X Popularly Known as Damilola Afolabi is a fast rising pop star that got signed on to the Wizkid’s Starboy Records in 2013. Before he met Wizkid, He was an underground artiste running things on his own while at the same time schooling in the UK.

In a recent interview with NET, he explained how he met and got signed to Wizkid’s label, “I just got back from London and I was on stage to perform at one Hennessy event and that day I met one woman (Toyin Lawani) and she looked at me and was like, I like your swag, I like your dressing, I’m a stylist, I’ll want to style you. So we spoke for a while and we became close, and she’s also close friends with Wizkid because she was styling Wizkid at that time, so she called me up and said: ‘send me some of your stuffs, I want to play it for Wizkid and see if he likes it. So she played a couple of my stuffs for him and he liked it, he called me up, I went to his house one night around 1am, and about two months later, I got signed on to Starboy in 2013.”

Actress mercy Aigbe-Gentry’s Hubby Lanre was given the beating of his life yesterday November 26,2014 at his hotel premises in Ikeja. According to insider gist,the guy who beat him up is Gov. Mimiko’s SA named Bashorun Akinloye Akinboni .

It is whispered that Bashorun paid Lanre Gentry rent but he turned around and rented out same house to gospel artiste Atorise.

When Bashorun Akinloye Akinboni  went to his hotel last night and coincidentally met Atorise there ,an argument ensued and Bashorun Akinloye Akinboni lost his temper and pounced on Larry Gent beating him to a Pulp.

When the beating got too much and blood was gushing from all his body,Atorise took to his heels,leaving the venue in one piece.

As you read this,he has bandage on his legs, arms and places eyes cannot see when one is clothed.
Amebos swear that Popular Yoruba presenter, Segun Adisa of Labeorun fame was also there live and witnessed the beating…However,it is possible he might not want to be associated with this kind of news when it breaks..

‘‘Lanre is in the habit of duping people and had no right to take his money and give someone else the house.he has been doing this to several people and needs to be stopped”

Davido recently spent millions of naira on two cars for his manager Kamal Ajiboye and his producer Shizzi for contributing immensely to his success in music this year.

He bought a Mercedes 450 GL for his manager and a Porsch Cayenne for his producer.

Yoruba Movie Star,Dejo Tunfulu Coughs blood on Film set! Rushed to Hospital.

Yoruba Movie star,Kunle Mac-Tokunbo popularly known as Dejo Tunfulu was on set of his new movie Igbo Sambisa when he all of a sudden begun to cough out blood
. This heart-breaking incidence happened in Abule-Egba area of Lagos State. Right as it was Dejo’s turn to act while on set, he started to vomit and cough blood and was immediately rushed to Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LUTH), Ikeja for proper treatment. 

According to reports making the rounds, Dejo suffered an internal injury in his nostril which was not treated in time and properly because he thought it was something minor. To stop the bleeding, his nostrils were blocked with cotton wool to make breathing a little easier.
Who knew Dejo had such a funky and cool sounding name?
